Good soil

I try to remember the 100 funny, genius, things my kids say throughout the day, but of course when I sit to type it's all forgotten!! Hate that:((I do remember one thing, I was reading to Sadie and Coco about the planting of God's word on the soil, some seed fell by the way side, and the birds ate it up, then some was planted in the stony place, where the roots were not deep, and some fell among the thorns and were choked. Then the other fell into the good ground, and brought forth much fruit!!  It's funny sometimes when I read my mind wonders, and I'm not even thinking of what I'm reading, well this was that time, then Sadie stands up and says loud and proud "mom I'm like the good soil!" This caught my attention, and made me feel bad that I was not more engaged, but proud at the same time that she was listening and learning!

We had a great evening last night after months of our jacuzzi not working, it finally got fixed yesterday! So after dinner we all jumped in, and soaked for an hour, felt so great, John and the two big kids jumped into the freezing pool. Then a family movie, called Mr. Poppers Penguins, highly recommended! 

Dinner 

Eggs, Olive Oil, Parmesan cheese, chicken breasts, bread crumbs, bake for 30 minutes.

 Sadie and I making them soooo wonderful the kids said mom this is your new dessert, please make it all the time!!

Alright time to get with the house then Sadie's class helpers Coco and I! God bless Shirley
