Happy 4th of July! I love this holiday, to reminisce on the great freedom, we have here in America, I don't care what anyone says about America, this is the BEST country to live in! I thank God that I was privileged to be born here! We've been working hard on the girls room, painting, finishing little projects here and there. All the kids helped yesterday, they had fun but just as quickly realized it wasn't that fun! After all day working, we asked kids if they wanted to swim in the night, so we all jumped in and had a blast! Then we watched a movie together, feels so good, to spend time with just our little family. It brings us closer, don't get me wrong it can be a challenge with a few fights here and there, but it's worth the effort! I always ask my kids, when their mad, "is your heart still hard?" Sometimes they say yes! Other times they soften it, and everything is better! So amazing how one moment you can be feeling so angry, but once you soften your heart and forgive, all those hateful, mean thoughts disappear! Thank God for forgiveness! 

We all are going to take breaks here and there BBQ, swim, then meeting a group of friends tonight to watch the fireworks! Have a great holiday! Shirley
