Happy Mothers day Gretchen!

She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. —Proverbs 31:27

Happy Mothers Day! To my mother Gretchen, I love you and appreciate you more and more, as I grow as a mommy, I realize the time, love, patients, lessons, you put in to raise us. 

You always went against how the "world" said you should raise us. 

You were against junk food, which prompted many relatives to have pity on us kids. 

You said no to too much T.V, when our friends could lounge all day and night watching cartoons. 

You would cut off a willow tree branch and swat our naughty butts, when we got out of line, never out of anger, just love. 

You insisted we go to church, it was not an option! 

You would read as many Bible stories as we wanted. 

You would drive us all day and night too friends, lessons, school events. 

You taught us the love of travel, with little money we still had many adventures.

 You took us to the mountains to make sure we knew where we came from, teaching us about plant's, food, the way of life of our ancestors. 

Thank you momma, I only wish to be half the momma you are, which is way above average.
