House sketch

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return. Luke 6:38

John and I are gearing up for a remodel on the front of the house. If you know what the front looks likes well then you understand! We like to do all our own work to save money, and to have pride of accomplishment. But…. There are just some things that we can't do our selves. And with strict city codes and all, well we need help. So we googled a local contractor who is also a designer, looked at his website, and noticed many of the homes around our neighborhood that we have been admiring, all were his work! So we have meet with him a few times, and he drew up a sketch from what we had floating in our minds. The front of the house is very confusing, no symmetry, just kinda a mess! WE wanted to do a different stair system since it is a second story entrance, but city codes wouldn't allow us to, so we have to stay in the same blueprint of our excising one. But we are redoing it all, using concrete, wood, steal, and cable. Then we're changing the roof line, to be flat, we have two other homes near us and we all have the same roof line, looks silly. We want to be different. Tongue and groove underneath, with inset lighting. The main attraction will be our huge steal wall window. So excited to start hoping very soon, seems like construction has picked up, thus everyone seems to be booked for months, hoping to pull some strings.
We will have tongue and groove ceilings on two balcony's with three LED lights similar to this house.
 Stair system kinda like this
Or this
Or this….
Using these same materials, wood, concrete, steal, and glass.
Didn't know I was a modern type of girl, but I find that this style really appeals to me.
Alright my time alone is coming to a end, gotta pick kids up, homeschool is going wonderful, kids are still so busy with school work, that it's not as much time as I thought it would be hanging out, we all have things to do. But I love our mornings, Sage, John and I drink coffee, eat together, then we go to the gym to workout. After the gym they do hours of school work, next we make a big, yummy lunch together. It's working for our family. Love you all, Shirley
