Bread Breaking

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

After months of being sick free the Slee household got struck! Sadie girl has been home two days now from school. I'm fighting on and off, of feeling tired, sore throat, a little achy. Bub's got a little bit of it yesterday, Chloe is symptom free as is Sage. So just trying to lay low today.
Pray for this girl, she's sicky, trying to run and play then gets tired easy. We've been so blessed with no flu, colds this whole winter, hoping this one leaves fairly soon,
A couple days ago I made some wheat bread, it turned out Ok, a little too much yeast, and kinda brick like! So I was super happy when Kim announced that we were doing bread making 101 at her house
At our Women To Women gathering at Kim's house, our sweet friend Alisha taught us to make Sourdough Starters, then we made two different types of loafs, a five minute yeast bread, and a french braided loaf. Ohh baby Treasure is such a little joy, always smiling
Here are the two breads, sooo yummy, I shamelessly ate my entire loaf! That's why I'm cutting off carbs and sugar for a while!

Our lovely teacher Alisha, her and her adorable family are moving this week. We are all going to miss her very much!!
The kids became like vultures circling every time a loaf came out of the oven
I'm a sucker for any type of dough

Sadie Goldie, and Malachi all waiting patiently by the oven!
Time to muster up some energy, and clean, house is showing today so lots to do, God bless Shirley
