busy times

Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. —Job 38:4

Lots going on around here. No time whats so ever to blog! This is my third time trying to write this blog post! Last night around 7, I was almost done writing it, when life as we know it stopped! All electricity went off, all computers, T.V, lights you name it, came to a screeching stop! The little girls were in the bath and started screaming, we lite all the candles in the house and sat by one another, talked, read, I loved it!
However I'm Missing my time to sit and write.... We flew Grandma in to town for the holiday's, she's a joy to have around, her one liners, and jolly attitude are a pleasure to us all. The kids get a kick out of Grandma, she is sharp as a tack at 80, she's great with history, dates, world affairs, her childhood, you name it, she's got something to say! My uncle Brian who is like a super hero, he is the Chief of Police for South Lake Tahoe, flew his plane into town yesterday, so we got to spend a day with him and my other two awesome uncle's. These men are such amazing, fun, character, I loved seeing my grandma, light up around her boys. Last week Sadie had a Christmas performance at a resort here in town. She was hilarious on the way to her performance she kept saying, "I can't be late, if I miss this, my life will be over!!!!" She did great and totally thought all the applause was directly pointed to her and her alone!

Love this shot of Sadie's missing teeth.

Love having Auntie around to enjoy these special moments

These two didn't want to leave the hotel, Sadie felt right at home by the cozy fire
We then went to our favorite Mediterranean restaurant for dinner, this shot sums up how I feel at the end of these long, busy day's!
John turned 34!!! Our sweet friends invited us to brunch, I didn't snap any pictures:( but here is the restaurant, highly recommend it, great food, and fun ambiance.
Chloe and her baby lately she must bring her wherever we go! She will one day be a great mother
Busy day today all the uncles are coming for a early Christmas dinner at our house. Be blessed today, Shirley

Santa 2012

More to be desired are [God’s laws] than gold. —Psalm 19:10

Tonight my little girls could hardly contain themselves, they were bouncing off the walls waiting in line to sit on the Big Guy's lap! This year was extra special Luke got to sit on Santa's lap with them.. Sadie kept saying Luke this is your first Christmas!!!
I'm not the best decorator when it comes to Christmas, so I try to do simple things, Monday morning we quickly made a 20 day paper chain. In the girls eye's little things mean so much to them

Today was full of love, my dear friend Charlie and her two cuties came to visit. Then Johnny and Rachel popped in. Miles asked if he could hold Luke, he was so sweet to him.
Letting his little brother give Luke a kiss
Coco kinda got jealous, "hey this is my cousin, my turn to hold him!"
Then to the Village for lunch
Bye Charlie, love you and your light, your such a amazing chick!
Rach met us we walked down to the beach, soaked in some of God's beauty

Auntie Rachel teaching Chloe how to do the crab walk
Ohh the excitement these two were very excited to tell Santa all they wanted! But when Sadie's turn to tell Santa she went blank and said, I forgot! So he said he'll surprise her....
OK time to go, jammies, then to bed early, Love you Shirley

Filled up

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. Acts:2:28

Our super quick trip to Camarillo, felt like a week! God slowed the time down and we all felt at peace. We got there Friday night, and left Saturday evening. John rented a suite for us, Sage had her four friends spend the night, so in total 8 girls in the room! They had  alot of fun, swimming, laughing, catching up. Little John went to his buds house and was surrounded by all his friends, I can't tell you how much John and Sage needed this. I call it being filled up, meaning, they both have kinda felt empty, since we moved, being the new kids, and all, is hard. So coming "home" they felt so loved, wanted, and happy. As a momma, I couldn't ask for anything more, I heard someone say, Your only as happy as your saddest kid" 100% true!
We surprised Kristen at school, Sadie's BFF, Kristen was surprised she jumped up ran t Sadie, and let out this groan, that nearly broke my heart, you could feel these two's love for each other! Bianca and I call them the twinzy.
 Doing our pick up rounds
 The Hotel slumber party
Walking to Sushi, I had to grab this shot

We've been coming to this joint for a while now, and have come to know the owner, the little girls think he's a rock star! He signed Sadie's year book, so they all brought him napkins to sign.
 Chloe name in Korean

I stopped at my friend Julianna's house to see her and her adorable new baby Karis, I feel in love, she is the prettiest little girl, she looks like her beautiful momma. Julianna and her hubby Dan, did K's room so adorable, they made the head board, the mobile.

 Dan with the kids
 Julianna and her girl
Sorry Bub time to go! Seeing 15 year old's, hug, saying I'll miss you, don't go. You realize friendships like these don't come often! So I'm committed to keeping these relationships going Strong.
Grace and Hanna have been more like sisters than friends to mine! It's always so hard saying goodbye.
Last stop my favorite pizza place D'mories. Marie joined us for one last goodbye
Now that were home, John and I are tackling Sage head/foot board, this ones a big project!

Alright time to get a workout in, I cleaned the house, did laundry, and played pre-school, with Chloe! Love you all, Shirley

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Act:3:19

So excited the kids and I are going on a overnight adventure! I'll be pulling them out early from school. The house is bustling with kids, breakfast, you can feel the excitement in the air. They get to go visit their much missed friends!
Bubba, Chloe and I went on a quick walk yesterday after school, it felt so good being outside, hearing the waves, feeling the fresh, crisp air, Gods work is perfect:)
I'm really trying to make a even bigger effort in spending as much time, effort with my kids, I love them so much. They are the best gifts I've ever received.
OK time to fix Sage's hair, dress a American doll, make snacks for our trip! Blessings Shirley
