Adams wedding

If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. —Luke 9:23

John and I flew out for a quick getaway to Washington, for my cousin Adam's wedding to Sophie. What a beautiful, blessed day it was. They are so in love, God brought these two together.
The wedding took place on a farm, just gorgeous
 My auntie, Sarah, and Sharon
Little Clarie notice my auntie and uncle in the background she's taking a sip of his iced coffee. These two are such a great example for all their kids of what a real marriage looks like. Love is their foundation.

The righteous who walks in his integrity—blessed are his children after him! Proverbs 20:7

Dear Daddy,
I just finished reading a book about a daughter growing up and getting married, moving away, and her daddy having to give her away. Tears slid down my cheeks, as I remembered me getting married, moving away, it broke my heart not to see you daily. I miss our Sunday's going to Schat's eating a doughnut while you read the paper, before church. I looked forward to that all week long! I miss hiking in the Sierras to a secret fishing spot, with my daddy. You'd bait my pole and cast it father than any one I know. Or just our drives, where you would point out important places, where my ancestors once roamed. I remember so many great times with you daddy, you made my childhood, amazing, having a strong, dad, who adored me, and would protect me no matter what. I love you dad, and want you to know you've always been my hero, and you always will be! Love Mitzy

Chloe grad

The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd. —Ecclesiastes 12:11

 Chloe graduated Pre-School

She attended two days a week, for 3 hours. I'm so glad I put her in this program, she learned so much, but most of all she learned Independence from momma for a few hours. There were day's she'd hang on me and cry, and many of those day's I'd just bring her back home. But most of the time she was so excited to go. She made many friends and loved her teachers.

 Crossing the bridge

It's beginning to feel a lot like Summer!!! Many day's stuck in the kitchen, my kids keep me there most of the time! I'm trying to teach them how to cook!

Off to the flower gardens with all four kids! No better job in this world than being a mother, and enjoying it! Shirley
