No title

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. —Isaiah 43:2

Yesterday I met up with my buddies to work on Tiphany's new Yoga Studio.  We all helped paint, even Coco. She'll be opening up soon, if you live in the Camarillo area, I'll keep you posted for class times!

 Peri, Me, Tiph, Bianca
Ughhhh, the more I try to pull these kids away from electronics, T.V, it seems, something else pop's up! I made it a rule no T.V, till night, when all homework, piano, is done. So while I was distracted I come in to find this!!!

Oh well today's a new day, John's making french toast, bacon, little girls are trading make-up cases behind me, Sage getting ready upstairs, lil John trying to squeeze in a few more minutes of sleep! Thank you God for my wonderful family. Perfect, no, but He loves us just the same! Shirley

Dinner and a movie

Guard my life and rescue me; let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. (Psalm 25:20)

Goodbye Rach love you thanks for all your help, love you so much, and want the best for you always!
Here's Coco in her new dud's, she scored some cute outfits that are approximately 4 sizes too big, but she doesn't care! Oh she was mad that she couldn't hold one of Sadie's babies.
Yesterday was a full day I helped out in Sadie's class in the morning, then took girls to the park. Next one of my fav. clients Before
 After
Then we met up with two other couples in Ventura we had dinner, and many laughs! We then saw Kirk Cameron's new movie Monumental. If you get a chance go see it, it will be available next week in more theaters.
Here is a write up some one on YouTube did. Also here is a link to the Monument that the film was based on youtube It blows my mind how our education system has never once mentioned this powerful, meaningful monument.

"This film draws attention to the 150-foot tall monument that Cameron admits, “I didn’t even know existed. The statue is the heroic figure of "Faith" with her right hand pointing toward heaven and her left hand clutching the Bible. On four buttresses are seated figures symbolic of the principles upon which the Pilgrims founded their Commonwealth: Freedom, Morality, Law and Education. So, you know the news, media and liberals will be having a fit by the end of the night hahahah"

Alright time to jam, God bless today, Shirley

Organized/Beauty

Whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. —1 John 2:5

After many, many years of being dis-organized, frustrated over our shoes!! I decided to do something about it! We used to have most of our shoes in the garage in a bucket, so every time someone needed a pair the whole bucket had to be dumped out!!! And it was never ending, I'd walk in and shove every shoe back into the bucket! Last week while browsing Costco, I ran across this, for $109.00 John and Lil John put it together for me Sunday evening, everyone now has their own cubby!
The little girls received a bag of hand me downs, they fought tooth and nail, while dividing up the cloths, who got what! Even thou the clothes were too big for Coco she still scored some super cute stuff. Sadie promptly threw off her tennis shoes, since she of course couldn't try on anything with ugly tenny's on!!

My cousin called me last week wondering about skin care, did I have any advice?? Haley don't laugh! Haley has always teased me about my facial routine, which consisted of Ivory soap, and Olive Oil for years! Well times have changed...
After trying out many expensive brands, I've settled on Neutragena Facial wash, I switch off from Anti- Wrinkle, Anti-Blemish

To this deep clean scrub
I use scrub pad to wash with, my momma thinks their too abrasive, but I like them.
I then Slather on coconut oil, Day and Night

We've been using Trader Joe's Lavender lotion, for awhile now

I then mix in Olive Oil into my lotion and put all over my body.
Any way just some products that work for me, have a awesome day, filled with Joy, Peace, and Love!! Shirley

empty arms

I will . . . boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. —2 Corinthians 12:9

We got our fill of baby Luke, but the time flew, and now here we are back home, kids at school, with empty arm! Oh Luke how sweet, content, wonderful you are. John and I took the little girls with us to San Diego to visit Luke, oh yeah Johnny and Rachel as well!
The girls couldn't get enough of him, I found myself arguing with them, no it's my turn! They were so great with him holding him, changing him, Sadie wasn't afraid of how tiny he is, she just took over!
I was afraid the girls and I would be way too much for Luke, but he seemed to love being rough housed, he got the hiccups more than once.
No I'm not gonna nurse him my button came undone! My friend Charley from CoralTree makes thee cutest baby stuff! She made this snugly to strap down baby Luke, it makes the swaddling soo much easier.
We went downtown for dinner, it was good for Johnny and Rachel to get out
Of course the girls spotted a yogurt shop next door

Love this little boy

John and I took the girls to breakfast while Johnny and Rachel slept in

One last mulling
We stopped off in Laguna Beach, so the girls could play at their favorite playground on the beach, then soup.

OK so if you know John then you know how passionate he is about his job, literally he is constantly talking, thinking about how to grow the company! So any store, restaurant, he instantly talks to the owner, selling his product into the store. So imagine our complete surprise, joy when we randomly chose an ice cream shop right on the beach in Laguna, and low and behold Coco Libre, we both laughed out loud what a wonderful surprise!

It was so fun to see baby Luke, we already miss our baby. John mentioned oh next week I may have to go back to SD, I said can I hitch a ride?? When we returned Aunty and the two big kids had the house clean, and were relaxing, while it poured rain. I worked out, put my PJ's on and Thanked God quietly for such a Blessed Life! Shirley

Mommy's play date

Put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts. —Ephesians 4:22

Hello I'm back took a day break, some day's I've got nothing! Some day's I've got lots to say! We've been pretty tired over here, we all need to catch up on sleep. You know those day's when you wake with so much energy, full of life, I wish I could bottle those day's. And other day's when you instantly know oh wow today's going to be a bit of a struggle! Well this week has been a bit of a struggle. Trying to stay on top of it, I know I'll overcome. Any way's I got to have a fun dinner last night with some of my favorite girls Peri, Julianna, me, and Bianca, Tiphany was there as well but had to jam early. Just because us mommies need a play date sometimes too!!
Have I mentioned that Sage and I now can share all our clothes?? She fits my pants, shirts, but her shoe size is 3 bigger than mine! So now when we go shopping for her or I we both get excited knowing what's hers is mine and mine hers!! She came into my room and helped me get dressed
option #1
                                                          #2
 #3
And this morning Chloe got the school bug, most day's she is super content to stay home with momma, others she wishes she had a lunch back pack, and got to ride in daddy's car:( so today was our home school.

The house is a wreck time to pull it back together. How does that happen, it takes me 1 hour to start two loads of laundry, start dishwasher, vacuum, straighten up, then poof it all get nuts! Oh well someday they'll all be gone and I'll miss tripping over someones shoes, or putting back together their room for the hundredth time! One thing I don't think I'll miss is laundry!! Be blessed today Shirley

Homemade

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, Col. 3:23
As I mentioned awhile ago, I feel the need to cook more, we do of course have dinner nightly as a family but usually it's pretty much the same menu over and over, I know I'm not the only one, that gets stuck in the dinner rut! It's just that John's a Way better cook than me, but he's been traveling so much dinner is now mine and mine alone:( Last night I made my usual home made pizza but this time instead of Trader Joe's Dough, I made my own, super easy, and way more delicious!

When I was growing up my momma always had yummy homemade deserts waiting after school. I remember her no bake cookies. I loved them, so I modified her chocolate balls, into coco powder/protein balls!!
In a sauce pan I melt

  • chocolate chips,
  •  a heaping 1/2 cup of organic peanut butter
  • Scoop of protein powder
  • Then turn off heat once melted add:
  • 3 cups of oatmeal
  • Butter hands, roll balls
  • Dip into a bowl of coconut flakes, and coco powder, stick in the freezer, enjoy!

This is John's baby, Coco Libre Organic Coconut Water. After months of seriously hard work from John you will start seeing Coco Libre every where! It's now in Whole Foods, Sprouts, Henry's, Mothers Market, HEB, Fairway Markets, Bristal Farms, Wegmans, Harris Peter, Earthfair, Weis Markets, Piggly Wiggly, Tops Markets, Molly Stone. Rainy Day

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises. —Psalm 98:4

Finally Sadie and Chloe got to use their new rain coats and boots! We are so thankful for the rain, I try to teach the kids that it's a blessing when the rain comes. Last night I read them a story about a drought, then asked them to name all the bad things that would happen if we had one. They came up with super cleaver things, Sadie said we would not have fish, then Chloe said yeah and no water!
John and I haven't been spending enough time together, due to his job, life... So Saturday night he wanted to take me on a date, we went to my favorite place in Agoura Hills, called Padri. It was Saint Patty's Day and they were passing out green necklaces, so we got two for the little girls, not once reading what was printed on it! So Sunday morning off to church we go, with Coco wearing her new necklace! When we picked her up from Sunday School, she kept saying, "Dad does my necklace say Buzz Light Year??" Um yeah Chloe? A nice Sunday lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant I look down and notice she has on a Bud Light necklace!!! Oops, sorry we weren't out whooping it up, then church in morning, promise!
Look it's Luke!! I ask for several pictures a day! Can't get enough, the girls and I kiss my phone screen, we love him so much...
We all need our fix of Luke so off to SD, next weekend:)
"Me Time" is over time to finish my last few drinks of coffee then rouse everyone from sleep! God bless this day, Love Shirley
